For Anyone Who Ever Felt Too Much Or Not Enough.
You're Not Alone..
You know that feeling when you say something and everyone hears it wrong? Sarah knows it too. This is what she learned about finding her way back to her own voice.
About The Author
Sarah Seonarain writes about the things we don’t say out loud. She remembers what it felt like to be thirteen, caught between wanting to be heard and wanting to disappear.
Before I Learned When to Stop Talking comes from years of paying attention to small moments: a hand half raised, a conversation left hanging, the way love shows up in silence. She lives somewhere quiet and hopes her words make readers feel a little less alone.
About The Book
Sarah spoke first one day and everyone heard her. But they heard something else. So she went quiet. This is what happened when she started finding her way back.

What People Are Saying About Book
I saw myself on every single page. Sarah could have been me at thirteen, overthinking everything, staying quiet when I wanted to speak, worried people would think I was too much. This book made me cry because it finally put words to feelings I’ve carried my whole life. My daughter is getting a copy.

The mom in this story. That’s all I could think reading it. That’s me trying to let my kid figure things out without fixing it for her. The kitchen scenes, the hot chocolate, the way she just sits with Sarah instead of rushing in, I needed to see that. We don’t talk enough about how hard it is to watch your child grow and just let them.

Okay I’m not someone who reads a lot but this one got me. It’s short but it sticks. The part about almost brave hit different because that’s literally my whole life—almost raising my hand, almost saying something, almost being myself. Made me want to stop almost and just try already.
